This year we added two more sub-categories which drew a lot of attention: “Eilat Behind the Scenes”, and “Winning & Donating”. Photographers who participated in the “Eilat Behind the Scenes” category submitted images that documented special moments during the week of the event, emphasizing that the process we were all going through during the competition is significant at least as the results. The “Winning & Donating” category consisted of 10 photographers from different countries, who were assigned to shoot a “model book” for different fish. The prize was $5,000, courtesy of the Israeli Diving Authority, and was donated to SOS SEATURTELES organization.
