That's it. The Epson Red Sea 2011 event has concluded. There's no doubt it was a week of consumption. We were consuming compressed air, many bottles of beer, Ouzo, vodka, batteries, memory cards and a whole lot of makeup. But at the same time, it was also a week of production, as we managed to produce breathtaking images, exciting videos, the most amazing atmosphere and of course - very happy winners! Amir Stern from Israel was the one to collect the most impressive prize of them all - a $10,000 check for the 1st place in the 5 Best Images category. Aside from granting underwater photographers with the opportunity of finally winning some real worthy prizes, the Epson Red Sea competition also aspires to provide photographers with the international exposure they deserve.
