·  About the dive: This is a wreck dive to 24m which can be made at any time of day.
Visibility is usually good, and the current is generally southerly.

·  Dive Plan: Water entry via the ramp is followed by a steep drop to around 7m, where a large coral formation opens the sightseeing.
A little further east the seafloor slopes gently to 18m, where seagrass is dotted by perfect little coral islands.
Several large Arabian Angel and Emperor Fish (endemic to the Red Sea) often follow divers from here to the wreck, which lies parallel to the beach and the current, making the swim there and back easy.
The wreck can be semi-penetrated at several locations on the bow (18m) and stern (21m), which are separated by the ship's bridge. After exploring the deeper parts of the wreck, the ascent begins up the bridge, passing the skipper's seat and wheel, which now make a good hideout for several species of Lionfish.
The bridge is covered with soft purple coral and reaches a depth of 12m. From here, maintaining a depth of 12m through 'blue water', the way back to the beach is very simple and is marked by a large pontoon on the southern side.
Safety stop can be made seated on the slope, where octopus and giant sea worms are often found foraging.

·  Marine inhabitants: The way to the wreck is highlighted by Arabian Angelfish and Emperor Angelfish, moray eels and the occasional octopus.
The wreck itself is adorned by plentiful pipefish (from the Seahorse family), lionfish, Red Sea Fusiliers, Groupers, and occasionally small barracuda. In the darker parts of the ship, Sweepers and Lionfish have staked their territory.
